Had been a while since I'd gotten under the water, just before New Year actually down in Albany. So after a few abortive attempts at meeting up with the Dolphin Scuba crew for the Sunday morning dive I finally got down there this morning.
Wasn't too impressed at first as the plan was to go to Ammo Jetty which I have dived a few times before, but got chatting to some guy (my buddy to be) and ended up having a fun, relaxing dive with lots of interesting macro life to see. A great example of when there's lots of divers and not great vis, you just need to stop and take a good look at the small stuff. My first seahorse at this dive site which I was pleased with as it was tough to spot, but the movement gave it away. Then while looking at an octopus and nudibranch in one spot a small but frisky cuttlefish glided on in to entertain us, changing colour and texture rapidly as it chased my light around :)
