Another HOT night, about 3 weeks of 32+ degrees (that around 100 in old money). So we decided to head to the beach for some relief and city beach is a great spot to sit and see the sunset.
There was virtually no wind (hence being so hot) and even then an easterly, with a 2M swell came out of nowhere. Which created a great clean huge set of dumping waves, you had to time the entry well to avoid being smashed and after a brief look decided not to take the boards in! But great fun hanging just out beyond the breaking surf and a great way to cool down for the evening.
Then chilled out on the grass overlooking the beach for the sunset and a drink and some munchies - this is why we're here, so crazy not to do it :)
